Post your resume
Do you know every law firm out there?
Do you
know who has seen your resume?
Do you have the ability to update your resume, anytime,
anyplace, instantly for everyone?
When you send out your resume do you have complete control over who gets to see it and how much information they pass on about you?
YOUR PROFILE
When you fill out your profile
you can provide as much or as little information as you like, but remember that
most firms and corporations would like to know your name
and address. If, however, you wish to remain anonymous, you may do
so.
When your profile is displayed only the following information is visible: Your areas of experience, your law school and college and years of graduation. No other information is available to the general public. You will be assigned a file number and you will be able to see how your own profile appears in the database that is avaliable to the general public. Your entire profile and resume are available to all registered and verified law firms and corporations unless you check the box that limits who may see your profile and resume. Then, all of the information you provide is avaliable only to law firms or corporations and no one else may view it.
No information about your identity other than what is described above is avaliable to the general public. Furthermore, you don't have to provide information about your identity. You only have to provide a valid email address.
In any event we ask you to agree to the following:
1. You agree to keep us informed via
email of any contact by any law firm or corporation who views your resume at our
site. We will occasionally ask you about law firms or corporations who
have viewed your resume.
2. You agree to respond to our requests
for further information and you understand that if you fail to respond, we will
turn your resume off so it cannot be viewed until you do respond.
3. You will need
the password and email address you provide when you register if you wish to
update or revise your resume. If you forget them you may contact us via email
and we will provide them but we will send them only to the email address you
have provided when you registered.
4. When you register you can chose to have your resume viewed by
law firms only, corporations only, or both. Your profile is available to both
types of clients, but your resume and contact and indentity information is
available only to law firms or corporations if you limit your profile. Keep
in mind that your profile only contains the name of your law school,
your year of graduation and your areas of experience. No identifying
information is available for public viewing. It is available only to
registered, verified law firms and corporations.
5. We display profiles in order of the most recent date submitted so if
you want to position your profile further up the list, you should update it and
then resubmit it. That will give it the newer date and move it up the
list. Submitting multiple profiles is not allowed and all of them will be
deleted if we find you are doing that.
6. If a law firm or corporation contacts you and you do not want
to identify yourself until you have obtained further information about them,
you may contact us via email instead of responding and ask us to find out what
you would like to know or you may deal with that firm or corporation
directly.
7. In short,
you the candidate, control how much information is published and who sees it.
If a law firm or corporation expresses interest in you feel free to contact
us about it. We are more than willing to help you evaluate a firm or
corporation or guide you through the interview process. We have years of
experience in the legal recruiting field and we know a great deal about firms
and corporations, salaries and life style. So when the request comes,
don't hesitate to ask us for help.
